The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has postponed its evening encounter with flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo.
In a Twitter post Thursday, the IEA said “Our Evening Encounter with Hon. Nana Akufo-Addo has been postponed to a later date. The new date will be communicated soon.”

The NPP flagbearer was scheduled to appear on Tuesday July 5 to outline his policy vision for the presidency.
No reason was given for the decision.
The flagbearers of the People’s National Convention and the Convention People’s Party have so far appeared on the platform to delivered their policies.
The ruling National Democratic Congress says it will not participate in the encounter, saying the IEA is bias.
