Sagnarigu Constituency been carved out of Tamale Metropolis and it has Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini of the NDC and Sheikh Abdul Karim NPP contest for the seat.

Tema Central – Greater Accra Region

Tema Central is a newly carved constituency in the Tema Metropolis and it will have Kofi Brako of the NPP, James Enu of the NDC and Kwabena Okyere of the PPP compete to be the first parliamentarian for the constituency in the Sixth Parliament.

Sene East – Brong Ahafo Region

Newly created Sene East will also have Dominic Napare, the DCE for Sene vying for the seat on the ticket of the NDC against Mohammed Belinyi of the NPP.

Pru East – Brong Ahafo Region

This newly created constituency will be contested by Masawudu Mohammed, DCE for Pru East, contesting on the ticket of the NDC. The NPP will also with Abraham Agyebadu after his popular acclamation by party delegates. Other parties contesting in Pru East are the CPP and PPP with Yao-Agbenya Adzomahe and Emmanuel Nyale Owusu, respectively.

Zabzugu and Tatale/Sanguli – Northern Region

Zabzugu Tatale has been demarcated into separate constituencies; Zabzugu and Tatale/Sanguli. Candidates for Zabzugu constituency are John Bennam Jabaah, the incumbent MP on the ticket of the NPP contesting against Alhassan Umar, the CEO of Information Technology Enable Services (ITES) who is representing the NDC and Adam Azima of the PPP. Tatale Sangule constituency will also be contested by James Cecil Yawumbe of the NPP
