Ghanaian socialite and actress Moesha Boduong has shared an update on her health, nine months after reports emerged that she had suffered a stroke. In a recent phone interview with nkonkonsa.com, Moesha revealed that she has faced significant challenges with mobility and speech since the incident.
Detailing her struggles, Moesha disclosed that she was bedridden for several months and has been unable to fully regain her physical abilities. She stated, “I went off completely and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk, and couldn’t do anything. I thank God I am better now. As you can see, I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now. So I can’t type on phone now, I can only talk on phone.”
Despite the challenges, Moesha expressed strong faith in her recovery. She confidently declared, “I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar.” Her optimism reflects a determination to overcome her current condition and continue to inspire others.
Earlier this year, following the initial reports of her health condition, Moesha’s brother, Ebito Boduong, launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover her medical expenses. The fundraiser set a goal of $10,000, and as of now, approximately $5,158 has been raised. Moesha acknowledged the funds, expressing gratitude to contributors and confirming that the money is being utilized for her medical care.
Her ongoing journey highlights the importance of resilience and faith in the face of adversity. Moesha’s determination to recover and her reliance on support from her family and community demonstrate her unwavering spirit during this challenging time.
