The election process in Takoradi (Airport Ridge, kwesimintsim and apremdo) electoral area have been peaceful with high turn-out. There is no queue in most places during the afternoon but people are beginning to gather at the polling station after 3:30pm for the counting.

Ghana Decides observed at one of the polling stations in Airport Ridge that there was only one polling station agent, who is issuing both parliamentary and presidential ballot papers. The development is creating confusion as to where to put which ballot paper.
