Scores of voters have already formed long queues in anticipation of casting their ballots when it opens at 7 am.
At 11:00pm yesterday 6 December, media reports had it that, prospective voters in some polling stations all over the country particularly Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern and Western regions trooped to their polling stations determined to exercise their franchise when voting opens at 7am.
At the Kufour Laboratory Polling station, prospective voters were said to have arrived at 4:00am to queue in anticipation of official voting time which starts at 7:00am.
At the Christ the king church polling station, prospective voters were said to have arrived as 1:00am to form a long queue patiently waiting to cast their votes at 7am when polls begins.
At the cantonments post office polling station, prospective voters were said to have started trooping to the station at 5:00am.
In an interview with some party agents at the Kufour Laboratory polling station, they expressed satisfaction about the process.
The presiding officer explained the voting process to potential voters and subsequently urged them to contact him should they have any challenges they want to address. Voting official began as scheduled.
The atmosphere at the polling stations visited by Ghanadecides.com can be described as very cordial. Voters were seen chatting heartily.
