Ghana Police Rescue Kidnapped Emirates Manager in Accra
The Ghana Police Service has successfully rescued Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager of Emirates Airlines in Accra, who was reportedly kidnapped last Thursday night. The police have confirmed that Ms. Baah has been reunited with her family while investigations into the incident continue.

According to a statement from the Police, they are actively searching for the perpetrators behind the abduction and have assured the public that the suspects will face justice. "We will surely bring them to face justice," the statement read, emphasizing the resolve of law enforcement authorities to ensure accountability.

The Police also expressed gratitude to individuals who provided crucial information during the rescue operation. “We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who gave us pieces of information in the course of our rescue operations in particular and the public in general for their support and cooperation,” the statement added.

The incident reportedly occurred on the night of Thursday, November 21, when Ms. Baah was seized by unidentified men at the entrance to her residence in Accra.

In response to the incident, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, personally reached out to Ms. Baah and her family. The Police noted that both the victim and her family are in good spirits following the ordeal. Additionally, a team of Police medical officers and clinical psychologists has been assigned to provide the family with support during this challenging time.

The rescue operation has been widely acknowledged as a critical demonstration of the Police Service's commitment to protecting citizens and ensuring public safety. As the investigation progresses, the Police have urged the public to remain vigilant and continue to cooperate by providing any information that could aid in apprehending the suspects.
